Position: Construction Manager

Location: Muscat, Oman

Contract Details: Full-time

Our EPC Oil & Gas client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in Oman. You will work closely with the project team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. Responsibilities include managing construction activities, planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and ensuring safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all construction projects in Oman from conception to completion.
  • Plan, schedule, and budget construction activities with the project team.
  • Manage resources including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Monitor progress and quality, adjusting plans as needed.
  • Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management.
  • Resolve issues or conflicts during construction.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure work aligns with plans and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 15-20 years of experience in large EPC construction projects.
  • Proven track record in managing construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel as needed.
