The ideal candidate should have an English language proficiency at IELTS level 4 in reading, writing, and speaking.

Proficiency in computer skills including Word, Excel, and Windows is required, along with a good understanding of CMMS.

Must possess robust knowledge of various process equipment and be experienced with different pipes, gaskets, and bolting materials.

Experience in overhauling equipment such as pumps, fans, blowers, and reciprocating compressors at site is essential.

Strong leadership skills are necessary to enhance efficiency and productivity within the workforce.

The candidate should be capable of working creatively with the company to remove blockers to hands-on tool time.

The Field Coordinator must be trained and certified in lifting and sling operations up to the Person in Charge (PIC) level.

Meet all requirements for Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrument Supervisor roles.

Skills in spare parts identification and management are required.

• Apply approved standards, procedures, and schedules to ensure the reliability and integrity of plant equipment and systems.
• Supervise all field work within the area, ensuring sufficient resources and equipment are available for all activities, utilizing company workshops, contractor yard workshops, or external vendors.
• Contribute to the development of procedures, work instructions, repair plans, inspection, and testing schedules, ensuring compliance.
• Assist in developing maintenance plans by providing work scope details and resource requirements, adhering to schedules.
• Implement scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring all work is documented in the CMMS system.
• Ensure high-quality work on mechanical, electrical, and instrument equipment, including correct installation, testing, and proper specifications.
• Mentor technicians to develop Oman nationals into competent technicians.
• Ensure all work complies with QHSE policies and procedures.
• Perform alignment work using laser alignment equipment and dial gauges.
• Carry out flange tightening using hydraulic torquing and tensioning methods.
• Inspect portable equipment as required.
• Supervise up to 3-4 teams, including supervisors, technicians, welders, and pipe fitters.
• Organize materials and equipment for work activities.
• Troubleshoot, test, and propose repair methods.

• Education: Degree, HND, or Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
• Experience: Over 15 years in mechanical, electrical, or instrument maintenance within the petrochemical, oil and gas, or power generation industries, with at least 8 years as a supervisor.
