The Company

A leading player in the food and beverage manufacturing industry, recognized for its high-quality dairy and juice products. With state-of-the-art facilities and a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, the company is expanding its footprint in Oman and is looking to appoint a seasoned Production Manager to lead its dairy manufacturing operations.

The Role

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production operations within a modern dairy plant. Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant production of fresh and long-life dairy products. The role demands strategic planning, daily execution, and continuous improvement to meet quality, cost, and output targets.

  1. Leading and managing day-to-day production activities to meet volume, quality, and safety KPIs
  2. Ensuring adherence to GMP, HACCP, ISO, and food safety standards across all shifts
  3. Managing shift operations, resource allocation, and workflow optimization
  4. Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost savings, process efficiency, and manpower productivity
  5. Training and mentoring teams to enhance capability, safety awareness, and engagement
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain for seamless operations
  7. Monitoring and reporting on production performance, identifying areas for corrective action or enhancement
  8. Supporting new product introductions and commissioning of new production lines or equipment

The Candidate

The ideal candidate is a results-driven and hands-on production leader with strong operational acumen and a track record of delivering improvements in a fast-paced dairy environment. You must bring:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Dairy Technology or related discipline
  2. 10+ years of experience in dairy manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a Production Manager role
  3. Proven expertise in managing large-scale production lines, preferably in both fresh and long-life dairy categories
  4. Strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality systems, and operational excellence frameworks
  5. Experience in leading cross-functional teams, driving change, and implementing lean manufacturing or Six Sigma practices
  6. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  7. Willingness to relocate to Oman and work in a multicultural, performance-oriented environment. Must be currently based in the GCC.
