Senior Electrical Engineer

Wood is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Projects team focusing on delivering across FEED and Detail design scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible to perform Electrical Engineering activities and deliverables for a specific project and ensure timely completion to the required quality standards.

Position is based in Oman for a long-term assignment.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible:

1. Create demonstrable value for customers by understanding their drivers and critical success factors.
2. Execute technical work for FEED and detail design within designated Cost Time & Resource (CTR) scopes.
3. Implement, practice and Monitor Quality Management System (QMS) in FEED office projects in line with ISO 9001-2015 and API Q2 2nd edition requirements.
4. Carry out appropriate discipline, inter discipline checks and reviews of engineering, and design work.
5. Capture and apply internal and external learnings, including HSE improvements.
6. Deliver continuously improving performance, benchmarked as top tier in the industry.
7. Ensures the quality of technical work and the technical integrity, constructability, functionality, safe operation and reliability of designs.
8. Contributes to excellent HSE performance throughout the engineering phase of the project life cycle.

1. Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
2. Minimum 6 years in FEED/ENGINEERING and Minimum 10 years in oil & gas Experience.
3. Good communicator with experience in leading small teams.
