The Senior Health Representative position is responsible for maximizing product sales through various promotional activities within a specific geographic territory, utilizing digital channels and face-to-face interactions to meet set targets.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Engage in science-based brand messaging to support healthcare professionals (HCPs) in meeting patient needs, focusing on broader content areas such as disease states.
  2. Act as the key point of contact for compliant, reactive connections to Pfizer SMEs and resources.
  3. Onboard customers to new operating models and platforms, like the Digital Engagement Portal.
  4. Understand customer preferences to orchestrate an ideal customer experience with relevant content.
  5. Visit physicians to assist in managing their patients' diseases using Pfizer products, distributing knowledge through samples, literature, and clinical trials.
  6. Follow up with HCPs to gather feedback and address questions regarding Pfizer products.
  7. Provide approved information on Pfizer products, including usage, dosage, and side effects.
  8. Enlist Pfizer products in institutional formularies.
  9. Report customer interactions, feedback, and market insights to sales management.
  10. Participate in marketing campaign preparations by providing market and customer insights.
  11. Manage stock, consumption, and ordering processes, especially in government sectors.
  12. Engage in community awareness programs, seminars, and sales demonstrations.
  13. Organize AV activities and participate in the nomination and selection of local speakers.
  14. Use ECMS to report visits and activities.
  15. Attend sales and other relevant meetings, prepare short-term POA, and present reports on sales, activities, and market feedback.
  16. Understand customer segmentation and insights to tailor engagement strategies.
  17. Maintain and develop customer advocates aligned with their priorities.
  18. Handle all customer communications professionally.
  19. Coordinate activities with marketing, medical, and other departments to engage customers effectively.
  20. Explore new business opportunities to expand territory reach.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Assist and attend AV activities with Health Representatives.
  2. Participate in strategy meetings and external training.
  3. Support HRs through onboarding and coaching.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

  1. Reports to the Health Rep Manager (Commercial).
  2. Collaborates with SMEs and other departments such as Supportive, Medical, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Customer Administration.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Gulf experience is mandatory.
  • B.Sc. in Pharmacy or related field.
  • At least 4 years in sales, with 2 years as a Professional Health Representative.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales and successful completion of development assignments.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Effective selling, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Customer-facing competencies focusing on customer needs, managing complexity, influencing, and collaboration.
