Role Purpose:

To analyze and troubleshoot network communication failures and bottlenecks, and to process the experience in the installation, design, management, and support activities of LAN and WAN networks. This includes knowledge of routing, switching, security implementation, and technologies, with a good understanding of LAN and WAN technology, ITIL v4, and ICT/information security.

Minimum Role Requirements:

Qualification: Bachelor Degree

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience with a Bachelor degree

Key Accountabilities:

  • Gather business requirements and architect, document, and implement network solutions that meet enterprise requirements and standards
  • Proactively manage and optimize network systems; interface with vendors for support requirements
  • Supervise the installation process of new physical connectivity solutions
  • Coordinate with engineering on system expansions and with internal departments to develop production roadmaps
  • Provide timely status updates to the team leader
  • Optimize LAN/WAN performance using reports and monitoring applications in a 24/7 environment
  • Strive to meet established SLA commitments
  • Participate in cross-functional technical projects requiring network technology as a primary component
  • Provide second-level support for problem diagnosis and assist third-level support, clients, engineering, and sales teams
  • Act as the customer technical focal point and establish network operational standards
  • Monitor contracts, prepare business cases, scope of work, RFT, RFP, and manage payments to optimize operational costs
  • Possess knowledge of voice and data communication equipment and tools, and manage QoS in active network infrastructure
  • Have proficient knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, HP, Huawei, F5, or other network and security vendors
  • Provide on-site engineering support and handle specialized networking tools/equipment
  • Architect and enforce modern TCP/IP network standards
  • Understand best practices for IP solutions in enterprise network infrastructure
  • Be skilled in configuration, support, troubleshooting, and debugging of network systems
