• The In-Room Dining Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the in-room dining (room service) department. This role ensures the prompt, courteous delivery of food and beverage orders to guest rooms while maintaining the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and hospitality. The supervisor leads and supports the in-room dining team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve departmental goals.
  
• Supervise and coordinate all activities related to in-room dining service.
  
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of guest orders with professional presentation.
  
• Maintain consistent service standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving any complaints promptly and effectively.
  
• Train, coach, and support room service attendants to uphold service excellence.
  
• Monitor staff grooming, performance, and adherence to service protocols.
  
• Ensure orders are accurately prepared and presented in accordance with hotel standards.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in pantry, trays, trolleys, and service areas.
  
• Manage inventory levels of in-room dining supplies, condiments, and equipment.
  
• Assist in creating and updating room service menus in coordination with the culinary team.
  
• Handle billing procedures accurately, including posting charges to guest accounts.
  
• Prepare shift reports, staff schedules, and departmental documentation as required.
  
• Coordinate with kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth operations and communication.
  

• Proven experience in food & beverage service, preferably in room service or hotel operations.
  
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience is strongly preferred.
  
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Proficient in POS systems and basic administrative tasks.
  
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
