Room Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our in-room dining service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring prompt and courteous delivery of food and beverage orders to guest rooms while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and hospitality.



Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate all activities related to in-room dining service, including ordering, preparation, and delivery of food and beverages.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of guest orders with professional presentation.
  • Maintain consistent service standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Train, coach, and support room service attendants to uphold service excellence.
  • Monitor staff grooming, performance, and adherence to service protocols.
  • Manage inventory levels of in-room dining supplies, condiments, and equipment.
  • Assist in creating and updating room service menus in coordination with the culinary team.
  • Handle billing procedures accurately, including posting charges to guest accounts.
  • Prepare shift reports, staff schedules, and departmental documentation as required.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth operations and communication.


Requirements
  • Proven experience in food and beverage service, preferably in room service or hotel operations.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in POS systems and basic administrative tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
