Country Manager (Building Materials/Manufacturing)

An adaptable, enthusiastic, and well-rounded manager is required to manage and rejuvenate the Oman Branch business, as well as taking on responsibility for P&L and administrative overview across Oman business.

Responsibilities

  1. Full commercial P&L responsibility for the company
  2. Legal representation
  3. HR – with dotted line to central Dubai HR
  4. Supply chain - with dotted line to central Dubai Supply Chain
  5. Accounting and Finance - dotted line to central Finance/Accounting
  6. Credit Control - dotted line to central Finance/Accounting
  7. Health and Safety - dotted line to central HSE
  8. Meeting central reporting requirements

Key Tasks

  1. Creating and implementing new business plan, including
  2. Growing sales
  3. Introducing new product ranges
  4. Negotiating new agency contracts
  5. Gaining approvals and specifications
  6. Relocating warehouse
  7. Opening new retail stores as appropriate
  8. Motivating and coaching the staff – providing leadership
  9. Setting and achieving yearly budget

Language Requirements

English - Very Good
Arabic - Fluent / Excellent

Driving Requirements

Own a Car: Any
Have Driving License: Any

Job Skills

  1. Senior management budgeting and planning involvement
  2. Commercially Astute
  3. Excellent Leadership skills
  4. 7-10 years experience in similar field
  5. GCC market knowledge is essential
  6. Minimum of 3 years Building Materials experience
  7. Previous sales management experience
  8. Technical Specifications experience
  9. Minimum of 4 years leadership experience
  10. Bachelors Degree
  11. Sales Training

Salary: 3,500 - 4,000 OMR + family benefits
