Responsibilities

• Support the company's philosophy and culture through the Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences & Forbes to ensure Guest Satisfaction and achieve our Mission Statement.
• Support the company's philosophy and culture through Guiding Principles and D.E.L.I.G.H.T.
• Perform all spa & wellness treatments professionally and pleasantly for guests.
• Maintain a professional, friendly business attitude and conduct all duties as required or assigned by the Manager.

Training

• Conduct regular refresher trainings for all spa therapists.
• Ensure all Spa Therapists stay updated with treatment knowledge and changes.
• Assist with supplier trainings such as MOHG signature therapies, Aromatherapy Associates, Biologique Recherche, and Maison D Asa.
• Create and implement an education program for hotel colleagues to raise awareness.
• Maintain treatment logs and update monthly following trainings.
• Develop monthly training plans in liaison with the Spa Manager.
• Update training plans and departmental checklists monthly.
• Conduct product knowledge sessions for Spa Concierge and Spa Attendants.
• Complete group spa training and on-the-job training.
• Complete the Hotel Train the Trainer Course.
• Conduct induction trainings for various modules and treatments.
• Conduct SOP training to ensure consistency and amend SOPs as needed.

Sales and Marketing

• Develop new promotions with the Spa Manager.
• Update the therapist team on new promotions.
• Conduct press interviews when necessary.

People & Culture

• Conduct therapist reviews with the Spa Manager.
• Trade test prospective therapists.
• Participate in hotel orientation and brief staff on spa policies and training plans.
• Attend job fairs and conduct regular one-on-one meetings with therapists.

Operation

• Review treatment room checklists for completeness.
• Coordinate treatments considering guest contraindications.
• Check visual treatment books and therapist allocations.
• Create and implement therapist rotas monthly.
• Oversee back-of-house operations, treatment rooms, and equipment maintenance.
• Update therapists' task lists and monthly jobs.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure spa is in good working order, including engineering requests.

Manager on Duty

The Spa Supervisor will be on MOD duty approximately 15 days per month, during which they will:

• Review daily bookings and conduct operational walkthroughs.
• Discipline staff as necessary following disciplinary procedures.
• Review and complete MOD checklists.
• Conduct daily briefings and attend weekly MOD meetings.

Customer Relations

• Assist with guest complaints and handle issues regarding therapists.
• Participate in monthly planning meetings with the Spa Manager to review training, performance, and upcoming plans.

Meetings

• Participate in monthly spa staff meetings.
• Write and distribute meeting minutes.
• Conduct therapist meetings with the Treatment Manager.
• Attend hotel operations meetings when required.
• Hold quarterly one-on-one meetings with therapists to discuss challenges and aspirations.

Inventory

• Complete monthly purchase requisitions for professional stocks.
• Conduct bi-monthly stock counts.
• Manage stock placement and rotation.
• Assist in evaluating products for professional use.

Reports

• Complete KPI (Statistics & Forecast) reports monthly.
• Update therapist incentives and tips submissions monthly.
• Motivate the therapists team.
