Finance Group Reporting Expert

Vacancy Type: Non Technical

Location: Muscat

Qualification: Bachelor

Minimum Experience: 8 Years

Job Scope

Responsible for the full spectrum of standalone and group consolidation and management reporting functions, in accordance with IFRS, statutory requirements, and company policies and procedures.

Accountabilities

  • Oversee accounting operations of subsidiary companies, including control systems, transaction processing, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide and analyze financial information to guide management on strategic decisions related to Oman Airports.
  • Deliver inputs and outputs concerning Business Plan/Budget as required.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, half-yearly, and year-end consolidated financial statements.
  • Coordinate information collection from subsidiaries and associates for consolidated reports and other reporting needs.
  • Oversee tax transactions ensuring compliance with tax laws.
  • Issue complete consolidated financial statements and related reports timely.
  • Provide financial analyses as needed.
  • Prepare and submit reports to authorities such as CAA, MOF, OIA, and ACI as required.
  • Coordinate with external, state, and internal auditors for audits.
  • Ensure adherence to IFRS and government reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and processes related to accounting functions.
  • Support subsidiaries in preparing schedules and templates for consolidated reports.
  • Assess and recommend treatments for investments acquisitions.
  • Manage the preparation and reporting of consolidation and financial statements.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting.
  • Accounting Certification (ACCA, CPA, CIA, etc.) preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Finance Reporting.

Competencies

  • Deep knowledge of IFRS requirements.
  • Strong data analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to delegate and train team members.
  • Team player with good communication and business writing skills.
  • Understanding of the aviation industry business.
