Job Responsibilities
  • Participate in cross-functional and inter-office meetings to provide HSE Design inputs to Engineering Design activities.
  • Serve as Lead Engineer for Proposals or Projects when nominated.
  • Organize and participate in HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP, SIL, PHSER review meetings.
  • Conduct HAZID, ENVID, audits, and specialist studies as required.
  • Carry out design calculations and have them reviewed by Technical Authorities.
  • Own the assigned project documents until project completion.
  • Prepare and review safety studies.
  • Prepare and review firewater demand and hydraulic calculations.
  • Prepare and review Firewater system PFD, P&ID, and datasheets.
  • Prepare and review loss prevention layouts and calculations.
  • Prepare and review firefighting and safety equipment specifications.
Scope of Responsibilities
  • DEM 1 / DEM 2 Identification & compliance report.
  • HSE philosophy.
  • Hazard identification, design review, and HAZOP close-out.
  • Hazardous area classification schedule and layout.
  • SCE identification and Performance standards.
  • Fire, gas, dispersion, and explosion analysis.
  • Facility siting modeling and report.
  • Vent dispersion and flare radiation analysis.
  • Fire risk assessments (FRA).
  • Fire and gas mapping studies (F&G).
  • Passive fire protection analysis (PFP).
  • H2S mapping and sour facility classification.
  • Firefighting and life-saving equipment layout.
  • Active fire protection, fire water, and foam system design.
  • Emergency escape and evacuation philosophy.
