SAFETY SUPERVISOR

We are seeking a highly competent and safety-conscious SAFETY SUPERVISOR to join a leading LNG Plant Construction Project in Oman. This position is exclusively open to Omani nationals as part of our commitment to supporting local talent. The successful candidate will supervise scaffolding operations, ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in safety management, Engineering, or a related field. NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety certification is required.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in safety supervision within the construction or oil & gas.
3. In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessments, and safety management systems.
4. Experience in implementing safety programs and conducting safety audits.
5. Strong understanding of LNG construction processes, hazards, and safety requirements.
6. Proficiency in safety reporting, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
7. NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent (mandatory).

1. Oversee daily safety operations on the LNG construction site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
2. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards, ensuring all safety procedures are followed.
3. Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with HSE standards.
4. Provide ongoing safety training and guidance to site personnel, subcontractors, and visitors to raise awareness of site-specific risks and safety protocols.
5. Lead investigations into safety incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
6. Coordinate emergency response plans and ensure all workers are trained to handle emergency situations, including fire drills, first aid, and evacuation procedures.
