Specialist/ Sr. Applications Specialist

The Senior Application Specialist is responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of the organization s key enterprise applications including the Business Support System (BSS), Workforce Management (WFM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and SharePoint. The role ensures applications are aligned with business needs, are well-maintained, and deliver maximum value to users. This will require working collaboratively with team members and business users to clarify requirements and confirm design/implementation. Also, will be responsible for maintaining databases.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the day-to-day operations, configuration, and support of BSS, WFM, ERP, and SharePoint systems and other applications within the company.

Serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for application-related issues and enhancements.

Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into system functionalities or changes.

Oversee application upgrades, patches, testing, and deployment activities with minimal disruption to business operations.

Coordinate with vendors and third-party support teams for issue resolution, upgrades, and performance tuning.

Maintain system documentation, including configurations, workflows, and user guides.

Ensure integration between applications and with other IT systems is functioning correctly and securely.

Monitor system performance, usage, and health, proactively addressing issues before they impact users.

Provide training and support to end-users to enhance application adoption and effective usage.

Participate in IT projects and lead application-specific tasks, change requests and workstreams.

Ensure application controls and processes comply with IT governance, security policies, and audit requirements.

Work with Development, QA, and Production Support teams to communicate, verify, and test the desired functionality changes

Ensure the database is modified, maintained, secured and available to the front-end

Design & Provide support in intelligent platforms such us: Tableau, PowerBI, and any similar applications/platforms.

Assist with data collection, consolidation, sharing and general data management activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System or any related field.

5-7 years of demonstrated relevant experience in applications.

Background in the Web Services (SOAP, REST,JSON).
