Summary

We are currently supporting a leading organization in the manufacturing and FMCG sector in their search for a Head of Digitalization, to be based full-time in Oman. This is a strategic leadership position, ideal for seasoned digital transformation professionals who are passionate about driving enterprise-wide technology innovation and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will oversee the company's digital roadmap—including ERP systems, business applications, IT infrastructure, automation, and data strategy—ensuring alignment with business goals and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the digital transformation strategy aligned with business priorities.
  • Lead digital projects across SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, AI/RPA, and cloud technologies.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management, and application landscape.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and external partners.
  • Ensure high system uptime, security, and process efficiency across the organization.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across business processes.
  • Manage and mentor cross-functional digital/IT teams.

Key Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in IT leadership or Digital Transformation roles.
  • At least 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment (preferably Food & Beverage).
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (implementation/support).
  • Proven success in managing digital initiatives involving AI, RPA, cloud platforms, and Salesforce.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, IT security, and infrastructure management.
  • Project management certifications (PMP, Six Sigma, Scrum) and/or SAP certifications are preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to relocate and be deployed full-time in Oman.
