About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Hotel Representative fluent in Italian to join our team in Oman. The ideal candidate will act as the main point of contact for Italian-speaking guests, ensuring they receive outstanding service and support throughout their stay or travel experience. This role involves coordinating arrivals and departures, handling guest requests, solving issues, and acting as a liaison between the hotel and travel agencies or tour operators. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage guest relations effectively and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist Italian-speaking guests upon arrival at the hotel or airport
  • Provide detailed information about hotel facilities, services, excursions, and local attractions
  • Support clients with check-in/check-out procedures when needed
  • Handle guest complaints or service issues efficiently and professionally
  • Coordinate daily with hotel staff, tour guides, and transportation providers
  • Maintain records of client feedback and report to supervisors
  • Translate documents and assist with communication between guests and non-Italian-speaking staff
  • Promote additional services or excursions to maximize guest satisfaction and sales
  • Ensure guest preferences and special requests are met
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
  • Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or customer service preferred

Required Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and solve problems under pressure
  • Customer-oriented with a proactive and friendly approach
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Flexible schedule – availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Valid driver's license (optional, depending on the role)
