PL/SQL Developer - Oracle, DB2 and Microsoft SQL databases - OMAN

We have an urgent requirement for a PL/SQL Developer with experience in Oracle, DB2, and Microsoft SQL databases for one of our banking clients in Oman.

Experience: 4-9 Years

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong experience in design, development, and maintenance of complex databases using PL/SQL
  • Strong experience in Oracle and DB2
  • Strong experience in Microsoft SQL databases/SQL development
  • Strong banking domain experience

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex databases using PL/SQL
  • Write clean and efficient code
  • Troubleshoot and debug any database-related issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective solutions
  • Ensure database performance, stability, and security
  • Create packages, procedures, and functions
  • Write executable statements, handle exceptions, and debug subprograms
  • Expertise in SQL development
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and manuals; stay up to date with emerging database technologies and industry trends
