Bartender

Mandarin Oriental Muscat is looking for a Bartender to join our Food and Beverage team.

About The Job

The Bartender reports to the Food and Beverage department.

• Follow the production sequence of all beverage products and the bar sequence of service.
• Deliver service and product standards with a high degree of client care.
• Set up and operate a bar station/section.
• Provide guest service, take orders, and promote food and beverage offerings.
• Provide recommendations and prepare wine and creative cocktails for guests.
• Coordinate the service of food and beverage efficiently and accurately.
• Report and follow up on maintenance defaults affecting service delivery.
• Respond proactively to guest queries with effective communication]
• Perform restaurant opening/closing checklists and related duties.
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly inventory.
• Manage cash float and cashiering responsibilities.
• Maintain and order store requisitions and ensure stock rotation.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a 5-star hotel environment.
• Minimum 1 year of Bartender experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand guest needs and deliver superior customer service with minimal guidance.
• Attention to detail and ability to organize and handle multiple tasks.
• Clear communication; effective verbal English.
