Your RoleIntroduction And Job DescriptionThe selected candidate will be responsible for developing profitable sales within the Industrial Air Division in Oman. They will aim to meet company goals in sales volume and profitability, expand our customer base, and serve existing customers with our extensive product portfolio.
This position reports to the Business Line Manager – Industrial Air Division.
The Main Responsibilities of the Successful Candidate- Implement division's sales and marketing strategy locally.
- Achieve sales targets by promoting our portfolio to current and new customers within the assigned territory.
- Ensure each product is given a fair chance in the market.
- Increase market share through efficient and proactive sales management.
- Maintain updated market and competitor knowledge.
- Provide timely reports on sales activities and market information.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts using the CRM tool.
- Foster good working relationships within the team and across divisions to leverage synergies.
- Plan and prioritize personal sales activities to achieve business objectives.
- Support sales processes with effective data and sales tools, including CRM records.
- Be open to all sales calls/channels, in person or digital.
- Stay updated on product features and benefits to effectively sell value.
- Coordinate with the aftermarket team to ensure high customer satisfaction through good after-sales service.
Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience in high-quality industrial machinery, preferably air compressors. Experience with Atlas Copco is an advantage.
Knowledge and Skills- Knowledge of the Oman market is essential.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Proficient in MS Office tools.
- Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Strong technical and engineering background.
- Experience in negotiating commercial terms.
Graduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Personality Traits- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, energetic.
- Eager to learn and adaptable.
- Results-driven.
- Capable of working with sales and budget forecasts.
- Ability to meet targets, deadlines, and work under pressure.
