Responsible for assisting in performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization tasks on mechanical equipment to ensure availability and reliability. Communicate effectively with the Supervisor and Operations Team for safe and reliable facility operation.

  • Assist in maintenance activities on rotating and static mechanical equipment, including engines, compressors, turbines, and pumps.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and recommend actions to prevent equipment failures.
  • Handle and maintain tools and equipment used for maintenance tasks.
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions to supervisors.
  • Assist in creating work orders in SAP and relay information to planners for CMMS/SAP updates.
  • Assist in developing procedures for improving maintenance programs.
  • Monitor mechanical equipment performance through daily logs.
  • Ensure cleanliness during and after maintenance.
  • Maintain interaction with clients and customers as required by the Supervisor.
  • Follow the ERT roles and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Comply with HR, Quality, HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Job Skills, Qualifications, and Experiences

  • Technical degree in mechanical or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar, Waukesha engines, Ariel, Superior, and Dresser Rand compressors; familiarity with Solar Mars 100 gas turbines and centrifugal compressors is a plus.
  • Basic troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of Maintenance Management Systems and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Motivated team player capable of working in a diverse environment.

The position involves servicing and maintaining large engines and compression equipment, performing inspections, repairs, overhauls, and reconditioning following manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
