About Us

Afkar Investment is a fast growing group managing a portfolio of creative and homegrown brands in F&B and fashion. Each brand has its own identity and community, and we are looking for a Social Media Specialist to bring those voices to life across digital platforms.

About the Role

As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing content across multiple social platforms. Your work will help drive brand awareness, grow communities, and support business objectives. You will collaborate closely with content creators, designers, and marketing leads to deliver high quality, engaging, and on brand social content.

Key Responsibilities

Content Planning and Scheduling


• Develop and manage monthly content calendars for each brand


• Ensure timely scheduling and posting across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others


• Align content plans with marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal moments

Platform Management


• Oversee day to day operations of social media channels


• Monitor trends, algorithm updates, and platform changes to adapt strategies


• Keep each brand's tone of voice consistent and relevant

Community Engagement


• Respond to comments, messages, and mentions across platforms in a timely and professional way


• Engage with followers, customers, influencers, and relevant communities to build brand loyalty


• Identify and leverage real time opportunities for interaction and brand visibility

Collaboration and Content Execution


• Work with content writers, designers, and video editors to develop high performing visual and written content


• Brief and manage influencers and creators when needed


• Support on ground content coverage during events or campaigns

Performance Tracking and Optimization


• Track metrics like reach, engagement, followers, and content performance


• Report weekly and monthly analytics with key learnings and suggestions


• Continuously test and optimize content types, posting times, and formats

What We're Looking For


• Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands


• Strong understanding of content trends, engagement strategies, and platform best practices


• Creative thinking and eye for visual content


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic


• Familiarity with social media tools such as Instagram Insights, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, and others


• Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a fast paced environment
