Urgent Requirement: Technology Architect – Data Platform Implementation (Financial Services)

We are seeking an experienced Technology Architect to lead the architecture and implementation of integrated data platforms for a banking client in Oman.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Architect and implement highly integrated data platforms aligned with business needs and IT strategy.
  2. Deliver gap-fit analysis documents and translate business requirements into solution design artifacts, including banking data models, logical and physical architecture, and integration, infrastructure, and deployment architecture.
  3. Design and oversee the implementation of a Unified Service Desktop for front-end integration of banking applications.
  4. Define technical and non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, maintainability, and observability.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet strategic objectives and user needs.
  6. Develop and enforce bank-specific architecture principles for data platform implementation.
  7. Select and define the technology stack, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure.
  8. Guide partners in creating the target technical architecture blueprint, adhering to bank guidelines.
  9. Understand software limitations and capabilities within the project ecosystem.
  10. Define staging environment strategies including development, testing, training, staging, and production environments.
Requirements:
  • Over 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture and data platform implementation.
  • Strong experience in data platform architecture and integration.
  • Experience in financial services domain.
  • Proficiency in front-end integration and user experience design for Unified Service Desktops.
  • Knowledge of architectural standards, patterns, and frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
  • Expertise in data migration, event streaming, real-time integration, and enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Ability to lead technical design and implementation, ensuring adherence to standards and business goals.
