We are seeking a highly experienced database administrator to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our on-premises data warehouse infrastructure.

This expert-level role will play a critical part in managing large-scale database environments, specifically PostgreSQL and Greenplum, with working knowledge of Oracle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, monitor, and maintain Greenplum and Oracle database environments.
  • Implement and manage backup, restore, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.
  • Perform performance tuning, query optimization, partitioning, and indexing for large telecom data volumes.
  • Conduct user access management, role-based security, and compliance enforcement.
  • Support data sharing and integration with downstream systems for analytics and reporting.
  • Work closely with data engineers, developers, and architects to align DB design with project requirements.
  • Analyze logs, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure database uptime and reliability.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 12–15 years of experience in Database Administration, including at least 5+ years of in-depth Greenplum and PostgreSQL administration.
  • Strong understanding of Greenplum internals, segment/primary/mirror nodes, resource queues, and parallel query execution.
  • Experience managing large-scale telecom databases, including billing, usage, network, and customer data domains.
