Key Responsibility:

  • Partner with the sales team to develop account strategies and technical sales plans.
  • Drive solution positioning, competitive differentiation, and value proposition.
  • Act as the trusted advisor to customers, analyzing requirements and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Lead technical discussions, workshops, and proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements.
  • Design and document end-to-end solutions (data center, cloud, virtualization, networking, storage).
  • Lead the development of technical proposals, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Address customer objections with clear, competitive responses.
  • Strong knowledge of data center technologies (servers, storage, HCI, networking, backup/DR).
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and software-defined infrastructure (SDDC, SDN).
  • Understanding of hybrid/multi-cloud strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP, and private cloud).
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor solutions to position offerings effectively.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to technical teams and C-level executives.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-value (PoV) sessions.
  • Train sales teams in technical differentiators and use-case-based selling.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in presales, solutions architecture, or technical sales (data center/infrastructure solutions).
  • Hands-on expertise in infrastructure solutions (compute, storage, networking, HCI).
  • Familiarity with virtualization, cloud platforms, and automation tools.
  • Knowledge of data center modernization, cloud migration, and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of security, compliance, and disaster recovery best practices.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills (able to engage both technical and executive audiences).
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages like Arabic).
  • Preferred certifications: VMware (VCP, VCAP), AWS/Azure Cloud Architect, Cisco (CCNP/CCIE), or equivalent.
  • From inside Oman.
