Business and Society Educator

We are seeking a dynamic educator to join our team as a Business and Society Teacher in Oman.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to teach Business and Society courses at the MYP and DP levels, with the possibility of taking on a leadership role as Head of Department. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that foster critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and global citizenship.

• Teaching and Learning: Teach Business and Society courses at the MYP and DP levels, developing and delivering lessons that align with the IB philosophy and emphasizing inquiry, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary connections.
• Curriculum Development and Assessment: Design and refine curriculum content for Business and Society in line with IB requirements, develop innovative assessments that measure student understanding and skills, and provide timely feedback to support student progress.
• Leadership Responsibilities (if appointed): Lead the Business and Society department, providing strategic direction and support to teachers, overseeing curriculum planning and development, mentoring colleagues, monitoring teaching quality, and managing departmental resources.

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Humanities or Business-related field.
• Teaching certification, with a focus on the IB Programme preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
• Familiarity with the IB curriculum and philosophy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
