Procurement Manager

About the Role:
  • The Procurement Manager is responsible for coordinating with buyers and supporting purchases for retail operations.
  • This role involves assisting with selection and examining products that get to store shelves, in catalogues, and online.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for sourcing butchery products while maintaining optimal stock levels.
  • Source high-quality meat products at competitive prices aligned with strategic goals.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers.
  • Oversee purchasing details, including order specifications and delivery schedules.
  • Deliver training sessions to butcher teams.
  • Conduct cost scenario analysis and benchmarking to enhance sourcing efficiency.
  • Stay informed on market trends and shifts in supplier negotiation dynamics.
  • Ensure clear communication with key stakeholders to meet procurement specifications and expectations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, with 2+ years of experience in sourcing for butchery.
  • Experience as a butcher is mandatory.
  • Background in Retail industry is required.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Negotiation skills are necessary.
