Job Summary:
Senior Contract Specialist- This role involves managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, and driving value through strategic sourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop effective procurement strategies in collaboration with end users and support departments.
- Create and participate in technical and commercial evaluation models to ensure informed decision-making.
- Foster strong communication during the tendering process, including issuing invitations, bid documentation, and responding to clarifications.
- Evaluate bids and recommend contract awards based on thorough analysis.
- Present key findings and recommendations to relevant committees.
- Obtain necessary approvals and issue contracts and agreements.
- Lead negotiation efforts to secure favorable terms.
- Analyze market trends and benchmark performance to inform sourcing plans.
- Monitor vendor performance, contract expiry, and manage amendments/extensions.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes.
- Conduct regular reviews to anticipate needs and requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 12+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree in Engineering.
