Job Title:

Mechanical Technician I

About the Role:

The purpose of this position is to service and maintain large engines and compression equipment. You will be required to carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and Occupational Health and Safety standards.

This includes performing major overhauls and reconditioning of engines and ancillary components. In addition, you will assist in troubleshooting and recommend actions to prevent equipment failures.

You will also handle and maintain tools and equipment used for performing maintenance activities. Furthermore, you will identify and report unsafe conditions to supervisors.

A key aspect of this role is creating work orders in a management system and relaying the required information to planners to update.

You will work closely with clients and customers as required by your supervisor, following established roles and responsibilities assigned by site management.

It is essential to comply with all relevant policies, procedures, processes, work instructions, and guidelines.
