An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned professional to lead our advertising agency in Oman-Muscat.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to spearhead our agency's sales and business development efforts.

  1. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading pitches to prospective clients and driving top-line revenue growth.
  2. S/he will be responsible for creating strategic proposals to promote our services, managing client relationships effectively, and identifying marketing opportunities.
  3. The successful candidate will also oversee all communication elements of advertising and marketing, including creative, copy, layouts, and production.
  4. In addition, s/he will manage service providers, suppliers, and onsite requirements, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality output.
  5. The General Manager will be responsible for coordinating the overall budget process, developing annual budget plans, and ensuring profitability and monthly targets are met.
  6. Furthermore, s/he will develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance our brand image and increase exposure to corporate and government sectors.
  7. The ideal candidate will also train and develop the team to stay updated with advertising trends, improve proposal quality, and evaluate employee performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of job cards, daily worksheets, creative content, website development, and conceptualization.
  • Approval of all creative materials for events and external clients.
  • Implementation of ideas to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Requirements

Language Proficiency: Fluent/Excellent in Arabic and English.

Ownership: Own a car and have a driving license.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Minimum of 4 years managing a profitable, commercially driven advertising and marketing agency with experience in lead generation, collateral development, brand building, and online advertising.
  • Ability to lead a team to meet tight deadlines with high-quality work.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Arabic language skills are an advantage.
