Drilling Supervisor Job Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a skilled Drilling Supervisor to oversee the safe and cost-effective execution of drilling or workover activities. This individual will act as the company representative on the rig site, reporting to the Senior Well Engineer based at the coast.

The role involves constructing and delivering high-quality wells through drilling, workover, and/or completion as per the programme, in a cost-effective and safe manner. The successful candidate will manage the wellsite organization, including Wellsite Well Engineers, Drilling Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and Service Companies, to ensure wells are delivered efficiently.

Key responsibilities include managing operations conducted by the rig under their control, following drilling or workover programmes, adhering to company and Well Engineering standards, implementing the DTL process during drilling, and promoting a DTL working culture among the wellsite team to improve performance annually.

Candidate Requirements
  • University Degree in Engineering or Sciences
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as a drilling supervisor
  • Good understanding of process management
  • Excellent command of the English language (written and oral) and strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Well Engineering software (EDM, well planning, stress check, etc.)
  • At least 6 years of experience as a Drilling Supervisor within a total of 10 years in Drilling Operations
