Summary

Under the general direction from Alila Hotel and Resorts Policies and Procedures, the Spa, Fitness, and Wellness Manager acts on behalf of the Hotel Management to ensure all aspects of the daily operations of spa, fitness, and wellness facilities at Alila Hinu Bay run smoothly, providing guests with the highest levels of service and satisfaction.

Ideal candidates should possess the expertise and passion to:

  • Oversee the operation of spa, fitness, and wellness facilities, including bookings, service quality, staff scheduling, and maintenance.
  • Design and implement innovative wellness programs such as yoga, meditation, aqua fitness, and nutritional workshops.
  • Create signature wellness experiences reflecting the resort's identity and guest demographics.
  • Provide personalized wellness consultations and orientations to enhance guest engagement.
  • Contribute to sales and marketing strategies, attending weekly meetings.
  • Enforce hotel and spa policies and standards.
  • Review and update employee job descriptions.
  • Conduct staff performance reviews and report to HR and Spa Director.
  • Monitor daily SOP compliance.
  • Lead daily staff briefings, review guest feedback, and operational issues.
  • Coordinate with other departments for promotions and special projects.
  • Assist with media and branding activities, ensuring collateral materials are aligned.
  • Handle daily spa operations and accounting procedures.
  • Monitor staff adherence to rules and regulations.
  • Submit operational reports and maintain sales statistics.
  • Plan and execute wellness retreats, themed weekends, and special programs.
  • Coordinate guest practitioners, visiting experts, and wellness events.

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a 5-star hotel.
  • Experience in the Middle East and hotel pre-opening is advantageous.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills in English.
  • Ability to conduct personal training sessions and develop membership programs.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
