Public Affairs Liaison
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Government Relations Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Human Resources department, you will support the Hotel Management team in managing relationships with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for monitoring legislative developments, preparing reports, coordinating meetings, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials, policymakers, regulators, and public institutions.
- Analyze and monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting the organization.
- Support the development and execution of government relations strategies and advocacy campaigns.
- Prepare high-quality briefing materials, policy summaries, position papers, presentations, and reports.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and forums with government stakeholders.
- Track lobbying activities and ensure proper documentation for compliance.
- Communicate effectively with government agencies and respond to regulatory inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal departments (legal, compliance, operations) on government-related matters.
- Manage records of legislative activities and stakeholder contacts.
- Provide insightful analysis on public policy issues to management.
