Strategic Government Liaison

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders. The successful candidate will assist in monitoring legislative developments, preparing reports, coordinating meetings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, policymakers, regulators, and public institutions.
  • Analyze relevant legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the organization.
  • Support the development and execution of government relations strategies and advocacy campaigns.
  • Pprepare briefing materials, policy summaries, position papers, presentations, and reports.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings, events, and forums involving government stakeholders.
  • Track lobbying activities and ensure accurate documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Draft communication with government agencies and respond to regulatory inquiries.
  • Ccollaborate with internal departments (legal, compliance, operations) on government-related matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of legislative activities and stakeholder contacts.
  • Conduct research on public policy issues and provide timely insights to management.

What We Need From You:

  • Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, international relations, law, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, regulatory compliance, or a related area.
  • Knowledge of political and regulatory systems, including legislative and policy-making processes.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and diplomacy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM or stakeholder management tools.
