We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer to join our organization in Oman.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review and approve contractor programme of works ensuring adherence to contract requirements.
  2. Regularly review contractor progress and update project programme accordingly.
  3. Report scheduling issues to project manager for timely resolution.
  4. Liaise with resident engineers to determine progress and identify reasons for delays.
  5. Project completion dates based on current progress and advise on impact of remedial measures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of site experience in civil engineering preferably on STP/sewerage projects in the Middle East.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC and QS procedures.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 and proficient in English language (written and oral).
  • Middle East experience is advantageous, as is a Gulf driving license.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, they should be well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

A strong background in planning and scheduling is essential for this role, as is the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
