Energy Engineering Lecturer Job

We are seeking an experienced and passionate lecturer to join our faculty as a Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Energy Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching experiences, conducting research, and contributing to the development of our energy engineering programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate energy engineering modules, laboratory development, and supervision.
  • Manage and support delivery of degree programs in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
  • Develop and implement curriculum, assessments, and evaluation methods.
  • Collaborate with faculty members, academic staff, and industry partners to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Engage with students, demonstrators, and peers to foster group dynamic and peer learning.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative learning materials and resources.
  • Monitor student voice, attendance, and performance, and obtain feedback to improve teaching practices.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Energy Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching energy engineering modules and conducting research.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
