Gas Network Operations Manager

This position involves leading a team responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of assets within the gas network.
The Gas Network Operations Manager will provide technical support to operations staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools and information to perform their duties effectively.
Key responsibilities include advising on production, transportation, processing, storage, contract management, and markets.
Technical expertise in gas facility networks, including pipelines, compressors, terminals, and valves, focusing on pressure, flow, and quality is essential.
A major part of the role involves standardizing existing facilities to meet current national and international standards and optimizing them to enhance efficiency.
The role requires preparing and updating standard operating procedures and plant operating manuals.
The Gas Network Operations Manager will implement field change proposals without disrupting operations and manage Re-HAZOP and Re-IPF activities to identify risks and gaps.
Collecting and interpreting efficiency and budget data for senior management is also crucial.
The position requires resolving critical process issues related to operation, schedule, and cost.
The Gas Network Operations Manager will initiate and implement continuous improvements in Compressor Stations, GSSs, and pipelines.
Making decisions on technical issues, budgets, project schedules, and safety with minimal supervision is another important responsibility.
The role requires supporting project teams by participating in reviews such as Design Review, HAZOP, IPF, and QRA.
Cordinating with other disciplines to address complex processes (design, operability, availability, integrity, instrumentation, control) issues is also required.
The Gas Network Operations Manager will conduct process simulations using HYSYS, UNISIM, TGNET, and Flare Net.
Training and guiding junior team members, including trainee engineers, is an additional responsibility.
The role requires representing operations in debottlenecking and optimization studies, involving system interface advancements and verifying GSS control valve configurations.
