Civil Draughtsman Position Overview

Role Summary:

This opportunity is open to skilled professionals with a background in civil engineering and drafting. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings for infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare comprehensive site layouts, sections, and details according to engineering specifications.
  2. Develop and update drawings based on project modifications or engineers' feedback.
  3. Collaborate with the engineering and site teams to ensure accurate drawing compliance.
  4. Assist in quantity estimations and prepare drawings for bill of quantities.
  5. Evaluate designs to confirm adherence to local regulations and construction standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma or ITI certification in Civil Draughtsmanship or Civil Engineering.
  • Proven experience in preparing civil drawings (roads, buildings, utilities, etc.).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D is beneficial.
  • Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and survey data.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Must be willing to work in Oman or currently reside in Oman.
