Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced civil engineer to join our team. As a key member of the construction supervision team, you will be responsible for managing the workload of the Civil/Pipelines/structural Inspector and conducting inspections to determine if civil, structural and piping works have been done in accordance with contract specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the workload of the Civil/Pipelines/structural Inspector
  • Review contractor material and shop drawing submittals
  • Respond to inspection requests in a timely manner and perform site inspections and witness tests as necessary
  • Conduct inspections to determine if civil, structural and piping works have been done in accordance with contract specifications
  • Perform complex engineering tasks and engineering work efficiently and accurately
  • Prepare engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, measurements, surveys and designs
  • Support the Resident Engineer and other members of the construction supervision team in reviewing project schedules and payment applications

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 15 years of experience in increasingly responsible positions
  • Past experience in potable water projects including successful completion of a large pumping station and/or large diameter water pipeline (DI or steel) project in the position of senior engineer
