Event Coordination Specialist

The role of an Event Coordination Specialist is crucial in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the seamless execution of events. Key responsibilities include overseeing and coordinating all aspects of banquet events, from setup to breakdown.

Key tasks include supervising and coordinating banquet staff during events, verifying that event setups meet client specifications and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and ensuring timely and courteous food and beverage service. Effective communication with kitchen staff regarding menu changes or timing is also essential.

A successful candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably in hospitality or management. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in banquet or event operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, is required.

Candidates should exhibit strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, as well as attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary. Proficiency in banquet operations software and basic MS Office tools is also expected.
