Key Responsibilities

The Financial Controller oversees the entire financial spectrum, encompassing Treasury, Tax, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Financial Accounting functions. This includes having in-depth knowledge of financial systems, controls, and management ranging from accounting to broad investment and banking operations.

Key duties include managing cash flow for optimal operational funds, overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, and Financial and Management Accounting functions.

Additionally, the Financial Controller coordinates with investors and financiers to develop and maintain relationships and mitigates financial risk associated with fuel, hedging, and foreign exchange transactions.

Furthermore, they review and draft operational documents to ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Manage and optimize cash flow to meet operational needs
  • Oversee all financial functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, and Financial and Management Accounting
  • Maintain relationships with investors and financiers
  • Minimize financial risks associated with fuel, hedging, and foreign exchange transactions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies through document review and drafting

For this role, a graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or an equivalent qualification is required. Holding a CPA, ACCA, or ACA certification is highly valued. At least 7 years of experience in Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable, Tax, and Treasury are necessary.
