Senior Financial Accountant – Odoo Expert

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant who will manage financial entries and act as a strategic advisor to management. The ideal candidate must be an expert in Odoo ERP and capable of overseeing full-cycle accounting, VAT filing, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide actionable insights to the management.
  • Manage and reconcile inventory accounts through Odoo.
  • Design and maintain a complete chart of accounts.
  • Handle VAT filing and ensure compliance with Omani tax laws.
  • Process monthly payroll, including leave, EOS, and related entries.
  • Monitor receivables, payables, collections, and payments.
  • Coordinate with auditors and support the year-end audit process.
  • Lead financial planning and forecasting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.
  • Proven experience in inventory accounting and payroll.
  • Strong understanding of VAT regulations in Oman.
  • High-level analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
