The Integration Point Company is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join its financial team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurate recording of daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, revenues).
  • Preparation of accounting entries in accordance with accepted accounting standards.
  • Creation of comprehensive financial reports (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).
  • Audit review to ensure the accuracy of records, invoices, and transactions.
  • Effective management of accounts receivable and payable: Monitoring customer collections and supplier payments.
  • Monthly bank reconciliations and matching bank statements.
  • Tax return preparation (value-added tax, income, payroll).
  • Analysis of operating costs and comparison with the budget, along with recommendations for improvement.
  • Support senior management with accurate financial reports that aid in decision-making.
  • Ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations and laws (IFRS or GAAP).
Key Qualifications

To succeed as a Financial Operations Specialist, you must have:

  • Omani nationality.
  • A university degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Practical experience in accounting (previous experience in report preparation and taxes is preferred).
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and computers.
  • High accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work within a team.
