We are seeking a highly qualified HSE professional to oversee health, safety, and environmental aspects of a major maritime project.

Key Responsibilities
  • HSE Policy Development: Develop, implement, and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and management systems in line with international standards.
  • Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits for maritime construction activities.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international maritime safety laws and environmental regulations.
  • Safety Performance Improvement: Monitor and improve safety performance through regular site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
  • HSE Training: Provide HSE training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Incident Investigations: Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Emergency Response Planning: Ensure effective emergency response planning and drills for marine and construction-related activities.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and stakeholders to address HSE compliance matters.
  • Culture Promotion: Promote a safety-first culture by engaging with all levels of the workforce and fostering proactive safety leadership.
  • HSE Reporting: Prepare and submit HSE reports, documentation, and compliance records as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of HSE experience, preferably in maritime, construction, or offshore projects.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and local HSE regulations.
  • Certified in NEBOSH IGC/ Diploma, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent safety certifications.
  • Experience in conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver HSE training programs.
  • Proficiency in HSE reporting and documentation.
