As a seasoned Planning Engineer, you will be accountable for delivering end-to-end planning services to our Oman LNG Projects.

Job Description

The position is responsible for project planning, risk management and change control activities. Key accountabilities include:

  • Developing and implementing project schedules using Primavera and MS Project.
  • Coordinating risk workshops and tracking actions to ensure effective risk mitigation.
  • Maintaining up-to-date registers of changes, risks, and value engineering opportunities.
  • Providing timely project reporting to stakeholders, including progress updates, critical path analysis, and MOC summaries.

This role requires strong technical knowledge and skills in project planning, risk management, and change control, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the field, with at least 5 years in project planning and execution.
  • Strong knowledge of planning tools, including Primavera, MS Project, and ERP software.
  • Experience with budget and cost control techniques, as well as procurement and contractual knowledge.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
