Job Overview
\The Spa Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional experiences for guests while developing hosts to be their best selves. This involves embracing the company's vision and values, including local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky, and pioneering wellness.
\In this role, you will spearhead and participate in Mission Wellness activities, adopting and implementing wellness philosophy, concepts, programs, and brand initiatives throughout your department. You will work strategically with the Director of Wellness to develop cohesive goals and establish procedures to achieve them.
\Duties and Responsibilities
\This position requires managing the efficient operation of your department to provide exceptional products and services within the company's operating standards. You will:
\- Stay abreast of industry trends and practices, updating your knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
- Constantly assess and review processes to remain relevant, innovative, and in line with the company's wellness and sustainability practices.
- Be responsible for reviewing services, products, and rates to ensure they align with the company's wellness and sustainability practices.
- Effectively manage guest complaints, carrying out service recovery or delegating tasks to hosts to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Regularly meet with the Director of Wellness to plan next steps in spa operations and liaise with involved departments.
- Have knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the spa, including treatments and services available, as well as package plans and special promotions.
- Oversee the management of guest history and profiles.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure all details are in place for daily operations.
- Develop spa packages and programs, adapting the spa menu to align with company updates, local market requirements, and guest needs.
