Investment and Business Development Manager
In this role, you will be responsible for executing our investment strategy to achieve long-term financial goals. You will source investment opportunities and lead a set of investment transactions. Conducting thorough market research is required to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the ICT sector and investment.

Strong background in investment transactions and a proven track record in identifying high-potential investment opportunities are essential. You will participate in creating the investment strategy and investment policies. Actively sourcing deals and co-developing business plans with leadership teams is also crucial.

You will lead opportunity assessments in accordance with the investment guidelines and coordinate intra-Group activities. Leading the due diligence process on prospective investments, including technical, commercial, product, financial, market, management, etc., is also part of your responsibilities. You will support analysis of new investments, including modelling and valuation.

Preparing and presenting investment proposals, presenting opportunity assessment management reports to executives at all stages of the investment process, and coordinating external due diligence support where needed are key tasks. Coordinating legal support related to opportunity assessment and finalization of the transaction, monitoring pre-deal activities efficiently, preparing business activity reports and forecasts, developing and maintaining business opportunity records, and supporting creating annual conferences, roadshows, and events participation plans are also important duties.

Liaising with multiple international investment and ICT entities and institutions to gain access to relevant business opportunities is essential. Contributing to defining, monitoring, and reporting department KPIs contributing to overall company annual targets, proposing cost optimization measures and increases efficiency, and participating in the annual budget preparation process are key responsibilities. Staying abreast of respective market trends and suggesting portfolio adjustments accordingly are also critical tasks.

This role requires a deep understanding of M&A processes and principles, business planning principles, valuation methodologies, and ICT industry trends. Analytics, planning & Organising, flexibility & Adaptability, Operational Excellence, Creativity & Innovation, Communication and presentation, Respect & Integrity, Problem Solving & Decision Making are essential skills for success in this position.
