Achieving Staffing Objectives

We are seeking a skilled Recruiter to achieve our staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, advising managers on the internal recruitment process, and executing within defined recruitment cycle times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic recruitment sources to ensure timely and effective recruitment of talent.
  • Source suitable candidates through direct advertising, recruitment agencies, career fairs, and online platforms.
  • Participate in career fairs to connect with potential candidates.
  • Coordinate internal searches for candidates from within the organization for relevant job openings.
  • Oversee screening and shortlisting of prospective candidates and forward their profiles to respective business units for review and scheduling of interviews.
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other software to provide accurate data and reporting capabilities.
  • Maintain a database of applicants from which candidates may be sourced currently or when opportunities become available.
  • Verify education and experience represented by candidates by checking awarding institutions and prior employers.
  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying organizational plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.
  • Determine applicant requirements by analyzing job descriptions and qualifications.
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements and contacting recruiters and job sites.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on consistent sets of qualifications.
