Senior Architect

Globally renowned architecture consultancy have a major project in Muscat, Oman. They are inviting architects to lead their site-based team and ensure the project is on track, maintaining high standards of design intent, within budget and time deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have around 20 years' experience post-graduation with a degree in architecture and have delivered projects from site in the Middle East, ideally recently within the last 5 years.

This person would have worked on delivering large-scale High End Hotel developments and ideally worked in Oman previously. A strong sense of design appreciation, teamed with expert construction knowledge, GCC/Oman regulations, and building codes, excellent communication skills to manage teams and deal with clients and main contractors are required for this role.

About the Role:

  • Lead the site-based team and ensure the project is on track, maintaining high standards of design intent, within budget and time deadlines.
  • Oversee a small design documentation team, site engineers, and relay information to head office in Dubai.
  • Manage contractor relationships to a high professional standard and responsibility for maintaining project financials according to HQ's objectives.
