Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine testing of existing LV & HV protection relays and switchgear according to maintenance strategy.
  • Provide technical support for testing and commissioning of new relays as required.
  • Participate in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting activities for protection relays/switchgear.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technical staff to implement protection strategies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to protection systems.
  • Provide on-the-job training to team members as per plan.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of system upgrades and improvements.
  • Schedule testing plans for all relays in the plant as per maintenance strategy and ensure timely execution.
  • Update protection relays setting database and maintain the latest relay backups on laptops.
