Senior Civil Engineer Project Manager Job Description
This role involves overseeing the management of civil engineering projects, including supervision of survey teams and delivery teams. It also requires data processing and analysis, producing detailed project designs according to relevant standards and codes, and preparing technical reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Task/project management and supervision of survey/field teams and a delivery team
- Data processing and analysis
- Preparation of technical reports and presentation of results, conclusions, and recommendations
- Liaison with clients, stakeholders, third parties, other professional bodies, and contractors
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of technical skills and experience in civils, infrastructure, and water-related works. They should have a recognizable amount of postgraduate professional experience (minimum 5 years) and an understanding/knowledge of civil and infrastructure, water, and environmental regulations.
Benefits and Other Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to travel throughout Oman and possibly other GCC countries for work assignments and client visits. They will also need to be skilled in civil engineering processes and procedures and able to make detailed design and calculations using Excel and various software packages.
